Excellence in Enterprise RPA Awards 2019

With the winners about to be announced next week – Pat Geary, Chief Evangelist at Blue Prism, discusses the awards and asserts that the impressive results being achieved by the 35 finalists with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) – makes them all champions

We’ve had more than 100 customers submitting entries for this year’s Blue Prism Excellence in Enterprise RPA Awards, which now makes them the most popular we’ve ever done. In fact, this rise in engagement mirrors RPA’s growing stature – where it’s increasingly seen as a key driver of innovation and growth within the enterprise

For three years now, our awards have highlighted compelling applications of RPA – with entries demonstrating our customers’ growing adoption of the Blue Prism Digital Workforce. The announcement of award winners on April 3rd, 2019 at Blue Prism World London and Blue Prism World Orlando on May 22nd, 2019, will cap off one of the largest RPA events of the year that showcases, to more than 3,000 attendees, the “art of the possible” and how Blue Prism customers both utilize and benefit from intelligent automation capabilities.

Every year the quest for recognition becomes more intense and trying to choose the winners out of this year’s 35 finalists is proving very difficult.  How these nominated organizations are using RPA is remarkable and groundbreaking.  Not only is RPA being used as a catalyst for organizations to transform business operations, but to reinvent themselves too, making them highly competitive within the markets they serve.

Each participating organization had to submit an in-depth questionnaire and was judged by a select panel of industry experts that included analysts, consultants and journalists.  This year’s panel included; Elena Christopher, research vice president at HFS Research, John Hindle, managing partner at Knowledge Capital Partners and Karl Flinders, journalist at Computer Weekly.

What’s clear from all entrants is that while the savings that they’re achieving are still significant, huge productivity gains are being experienced too – quantified as hours being generated back to the business. What’s also really heartening is that these organizations have happier staff, as they’re being liberated to re-focus on more value added tasks.

Many organizations report enhanced speed and accuracy of processes, which is delivering greater compliance and a more consistent client experience.  Ultimately, those who employ connected-RPA, in tandem with other cognitive tools, are seeing this as providing a true foundation for enabling collaborative technology innovation so they can deliver digital transformation across their businesses.

We look forward to celebrating the leaders in RPA during our ceremonies at Blue Prism World 2019.
