Dr Adam Rutherford is a leading voice in popular culture on genetics, evolution, artificial intelligence and other scientific subjects. He is the author of five books including the bestseller A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived.
As the presenter of Radio 4’s flagship science program ‘Inside Science’ he explores a comprehensive range of subjects from astronomy to human evolution, including the impact of robotic process automation.
Adam has worked with Blue Prism previously and is a keen advocate of the benefits of RPA as documented in the video ‘Not All Robots Are Created Equal’.

- He’s also a regular guest on the ‘Infinite Monkey Cage’ with Brian Cox and Robin Ince.
For television he has written and presented many documentaries, including The Beauty of Anatomy; a five-part series for BBC4.
- Adam has a PhD in genetics, a degree in evolutionary biology, is an honorary research fellow at UCL (where he lectures) and is a former editor of the journal Nature.
- He is also a scientific adviser for films, including the Oscar-winning AI robotics classic Ex Machina.
