Online Registration Terms & Conditions

  1. Depending on the context, Blue Prism World 2019 (“Event”) refers to either the Blue Prism World event being held in London on April 3 and 4 2019 or the Blue Prism World event being held in Orlando on May 21 to 23 2019.
  2. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration as an attendee for the Event and the terms and conditions upon which you are permitted entry to the Event as an attendee. For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms do not regulate the agreement between a sponsor and Blue Prism and separate terms and conditions apply to such arrangements.
  3. The Event is organized by Blue Prism Limited (“Blue Prism”) on behalf of itself and its affiliates.
  4. Blue Prism have engaged Splash Event Solutions Ltd (“Splash”) to provide event management support services for the Event.
  5. Submission of an application to register online constitutes intent to attend the Event and your agreement with these Terms. Full payment of the relevant fee must be received by Blue Prism, or Splash, at or prior to the time of application. Failure to pay the relevant fee will invalidate any attendee registration.
  6. You agree that your payment for the Event will be taken by Splash in respect of your attendance and that Blue Prism is not responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered by you arising out of your payment for the Event.
  7. All prices are exclusive of applicable sales taxes.
  8. You agree that, in the unlikely event that Splash cannot resolve a payment issue and you dispute the credit card charge, this electronic statement may be used as evidence that said charge is valid and just.   9. Blue Prism reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to the Event including the right to require an attendee to leave the Event after admission. No refunds will be made to an attendee who is denied entry to the Event or is required to leave the Event after admission.
  10. Cancellations will not be refunded.
  11. You agree to carry with your government issued photo identification, for example, a passport, driving license (with photo card where applicable), or a national ID card at all times during the Event. You agree to produce such identification upon request.
  12. Passes can be transferred to another individual within your organization up to two weeks prior to the event start date with the approval of Blue Prism. After this time they are non-transferable. Each pass must be assigned to a single named individual for the duration of the event. Passes cannot be redeemed for cash or other benefits. The pass entitles the holder to access all sessions. Accommodation and travel are not included and must be paid for separately by the pass holder.
  13. It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine whether a visa for entry into the country hosting the Event is required and, if appropriate, to apply in advance. No refunds will be made if an attendee is unable to attend the Event for reasons connected to their failure to obtain correct visa or other entry papers.
  14. “No Shows” for the Event will be deemed a cancellation as per the cancellation in Clause 10 above.
  15. By attending the Event, you agree to adhere to these Terms and all generally applicable rules and regulations governing the Event that have been provided or are otherwise made known to you by Blue Prism and/or are imposed by the venue for the Event.
  16. Blue Prism uses the personal data you provide in this registration for the purpose of administering your participation in this Event. Blue Prism will process your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Blue Prism may disclose your personal data to; (i) third parties in accordance with the GDPR registration statement here and; (ii) other Event attendees but will do so solely in connection with the Event attendee list.   17. As an attendee, you may take photographs for your own private use. No commercial photography, filming or recording of any part of the Event is allowed without Blue Prism’s prior written consent. For the avoidance of doubt, you may not video, film, transmit or otherwise record (including audio recordings) any seminar, session, exhibit or attendee without prior written consent. All photographic rights are reserved by Blue Prism. Blue Prism may at its sole discretion arrange for photographs and/or video and/or sound recordings to be made at or in connection with the Event. In consideration for being granted admission to the Event as an attendee you agree to be photographed and/or recorded whilst attending the Event and hereby: (i) grant Blue Prism permission to use and/or edit all photographs and recordings featuring you (the Images) throughout the world in connection with advertising, reporting on and promoting Event and any related activities in all and any media including without limitation in Blue Prism’s publications, presentations, promotional materials, broadcasts, advertising of Blue Prism’s services including without limitation on Blue Prism’s websites; and (ii) Blue Prism may store copies of the Images for those purposes. You acknowledge and agree that Blue Prism is not responsible for the capture or exploitation of your image, in photo, video or streaming formats by other Event attendees and that Blue Prism is excluded from all liability to the maximum permitted by law for such capture or exploitation.
  18. If you submit, post or display any content relating to the Event on social media you hereby grant Blue Prism a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute that content throughout the world in connection with advertising, reporting on and promoting Event and any related activities in all and any media including without limitation in Blue Prism’s publications, presentations, promotional materials, broadcasts, advertising of Blue Prism’s services including without limitation on Blue Prism’s websites; and Blue Prism may store copies of the content for those purposes.
  19. The Event is an open environment, with large numbers of attendees and sponsors. While Blue Prism will keep confidential the specifics of your discussion(s) with our staff, we encourage you to take the proper precautions during your one-on-one meeting to ensure you do not inadvertently disclose sensitive information to bystanders.
  20. If during the Event you attend a session or program hosted by an exhibitor other than Blue Prism, you understand and agree that when you present your badge for scanning or when you provide personal data, that information will go to another company and Blue Prism takes no responsibility for how that company uses your information. You further agree that Blue Prism may, in order to better understand attendee interests and ensure our services meet attendee needs, monitor your choices and include scanning in your Event badge. Blue Prism will use this information only internally.
  21. At the Event, you may receive access to Blue Prism and third party licensed content (“Presentation Materials”). Blue Prism is not liable for the information in the Presentation Materials. You may use them solely for your own internal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized distribution (via sales, copying, posting on intranet/internet) is expressly forbidden.
  22. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the liability of Blue Prism for (i) death or personal injury caused by Blue Prism’s negligence or (ii) fraudulent misrepresentation.
  23. Blue Prism does not accept liability for any errors and omissions on its website or other materials relating to the Event and reserves the right to change the format and content of the Event and/or identity of exhibitors, speakers, sponsors and/or contributors without notice.
  24. Blue Prism’s total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation or otherwise, arising in connection with these Terms shall be limited to the price paid for any registration.
  25. All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from the Terms.
  26. Neither Blue Prism nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Event. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties, and whether arising from negligence, breach of contract, statutory duty or otherwise whether arising out of your attendance at the Event or otherwise.
  27. Attendees are advised to obtain adequate insurance to cover all reasonable potential eventualities in connection with their visit to the Event, or otherwise.
  28. All catering facilities provided at the Event are operated by the venue for the Event or other third party contractors. As such Blue Prism has no liability whatsoever to the attendee with respect to any food or beverages consumed by the attendee during the Event.
  29. Blue Prism reserves the right to cancel, change the venue for or abandon the Event for any reason (including, without limitation, by reason of a Force Majeure Event). You agree that Blue Prism shall not be in breach of this agreement by virtue of that cancellation, change of venue or abandonment of the Event. In the event of a Force Majeure Event there will be no refund. A Force Majeure Event means any circumstance not within a party’s reasonable control including, without limitation: (a) acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disaster; (b) epidemic or pandemic; (c) terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relations; (d) nuclear, chemical or biological contamination or sonic boom; (e) any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, or failing to grant a necessary license or consent; (f) collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; (g) any labor or trade dispute, strikes, industrial action or lockouts; (h) non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors; and (i) interruption or failure of utility service.
  30. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of or any part of a provision of or any right arising pursuant to this agreement shall not affect in any way the remaining provisions or rights, which shall be construed as if such invalid or unenforceable part did not exist.
  31. These Terms contain all the terms and conditions agreed by the parties relating to its subject matter and supersede any prior agreements, understandings or arrangements between you and Blue Prism, whether oral or in writing.
  32. Failure or delay by Blue Prism to enforce or partially enforce any provision of these Terms will not be construed as a waiver of any of its rights under the Terms and any waiver by Blue Prism of any breach of, or any default under, any provision of the Terms by you will not be deemed a waiver of any subsequent breach or default and will in no way affect the Terms.
  33. A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of it. Any revision variation amendment or waiver to or of these Terms shall not require the consent or approval of any person who is not a party to these Terms.
  34. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales without giving effect to principles of conflict or choice of law thereof and you irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms or its subject matter or formation.
